FAQs
The questions women ask before their first experience.
Where do I book?
Head to What’s On, choose your experience and follow the booking link. Some events are booked through FIXR and others through our website. The link will take you to the right place.
Can I pay in instalments?
Some events, including selected Escapes, offer instalment payments. Others require payment in full. Please check the payment options and instalment due dates when booking.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Our events are typically non-refundable. Some larger Escapes have different cancellation policies, depending on the event and when you cancel. Please read the full booking details for your chosen experience before purchasing.
Can I transfer my ticket?
Ticket transfers are available for our general events booked through FIXR. For Escapes, please contact us directly to discuss transferring your place.
I’m coming alone. Is that normal?
Yes. Around 90% of women come alone. You don’t need to bring someone with you to be part of Show Up Sis. We know that first step can feel daunting, and we’ll be there to welcome you.
I’m not very fit. Can I still come?
Start with an Easy or Moderate experience and see how you feel. Our hikes show their level so you can choose something that suits you. If you’re unsure, contact us before booking and we’ll help you decide.
Who can join?
Our events are for women aged 18 and over.
What should I bring?
Each experience has its own kit or essentials list, and we’ll send you the details before the event. For hiking basics, take a look at our Safety and What to Expect page.
What if the weather is bad?
We keep an eye on the forecast and may adapt or change the route if needed. In some circumstances, we may need to cancel an event. We’ll keep you updated. Safety comes first.
Can I bring my dog?
No, dogs are not allowed on our hikes.
Can I bring my baby or children?
No, babies and children are not permitted at our events. Our events are for women aged 18 and over.
